Our hand-hammered Copper Vessel Sinks are installed in luxury bathrooms, boutique hotels, and designer showrooms across 25+ countries.
Each sink is crafted one at a time by Moroccan coppersmiths using techniques unchanged for generations. When you choose AtlasMuseCrafts, you're not buying a fixture — you're commissioning a piece of functional art.
This polished hammered copper vessel sink brings the warmth of authentic copper with a brighter, more refined finish than aged or patina alternatives. The interior is polished to enhance copper's natural reddish-gold glow, while the exterior carries the hand-hammered texture that signals real artisan work — the best of both finishes in one sink.
If you've looked at copper sinks and felt the dark patina options were too rustic for your bathroom but the smooth polished options too sterile, this is the middle path. Hand-forged from solid 10-gauge copper in our Moroccan workshop, it brings warmth without weight.
Why the Two-Tone Finish Works
Polished bright interior — highlights copper's warm reddish-gold tone
Hand-hammered exterior — visible artisan texture on the outside surface
Brighter than patina sinks — fits cleaner, more contemporary bathrooms
Above-counter vessel design — reflects light beautifully on modern vanities
Naturally antibacterial — copper resists bacteria and corrosion over time
The Right Bathroom for This Sink
This polished copper vessel basin looks beautiful in transitional bathrooms, contemporary luxury renovations, hospitality and Airbnb spaces (where the bright finish photographs better than dark patinas), and bathrooms with white or light marble counters where a bright copper bowl pops against the light surface. Pairs well with brushed brass, polished nickel, or chrome faucets.
Care Note for Polished Copper
Polished copper requires slightly more upkeep than patina finishes — it will naturally darken over time unless gently buffed. Some owners love the slow aging process; others occasionally polish to maintain the bright finish. Either choice is correct.

Our handmade Copper Vessel Sink is built for homeowners who value real craftsmanship over factory shortcuts. Unlike mass-produced sinks with stamped textures and copper plating, each basin is hand-hammered from a single sheet of solid 8-10 gauge Moroccan copper — shaped entirely by hand using techniques passed down through generations of artisan coppersmiths.
The hammered surface is not decorative imitation — it's the mark of thousands of individual hammer strikes, each one shaping the copper into a seamless bowl with a texture that catches light from every angle. Over time, the copper develops a warm, living patina that deepens from bright penny tones to rich amber and chocolate bronze, making your sink more beautiful with every year of use.
This is not just a fixture — it's a Copper Vessel Sink designed to transform your bathroom into a space with soul. Whether you're building a farmhouse-inspired vanity, designing a rustic-modern powder room, or adding a statement basin to a spa bathroom, this handmade copper sink delivers the weight, warmth, and character that no machine-made alternative can match.
If you're searching for a Copper Vessel Sink with genuine hand-hammered texture and solid copper construction — not plated, not cast, but shaped by human hands — this is the one.

Your Questions, Answered
Handmade by master Moroccan coppersmiths using traditional copperworking techniques.
What is a copper vessel sink?
A copper vessel sink is an above-counter basin that sits on top of your vanity or countertop, rather than being recessed into it. Our Copper Vessel Sink is hand-hammered from a single sheet of solid copper by Moroccan artisans, creating a sculptural focal point for any bathroom.
How is this copper sink made?
Each sink is shaped from a flat sheet of solid copper by skilled coppersmiths in Morocco. Using traditional hammers and stakes, the artisan gradually forms the bowl shape by hand — no molds, no machines. The hammering process takes several hours per sink and creates the distinctive textured surface.
Will the copper change color over time?
Yes — and that's the beauty of it. Copper is a "living finish" metal. Over time, it develops a natural patina ranging from warm amber to deep chocolate and even green verdigris. You can embrace the evolving patina or restore the bright copper look anytime with a simple lemon-salt paste.
What size drain do I need?
The sink comes with a standard 1.5-inch pre-drilled drain hole, compatible with most universal pop-up drains available at any hardware store. The drain assembly is not included, giving you flexibility to match your faucet style.
How do I install this vessel sink?
Installation is straightforward. Place the sink on your vanity or countertop, connect the drain through a pre-cut hole in the surface, and pair it with a vessel-height faucet (wall-mount or tall countertop style). A qualified plumber can usually install this vessel sink with standard above-counter installation.
Is copper hygienic for a bathroom sink?
Copper is known for its natural antimicrobial properties, making it a popular material for hygienic bathroom surfaces.Beyond health benefits, copper is also corrosion-resistant and built to last for decades with minimal care.

The Art of Moroccan Copper — A Sink That Lives and Breathes
The Copper Vessel Sink by AtlasMuseCrafts is not a fixture — it's a conversation. Hand-hammered from solid copper by artisan coppersmiths in Morocco, each basin carries the marks of its maker: thousands of tiny hammer strikes that catch the light, creating a texture as unique as a fingerprint.
Copper has been shaped by Moroccan craftsmen for centuries — from the grand doors of Marrakech riads to the ornate lanterns of Fez. Our coppersmiths continue this tradition, working without molds or machines, using only fire, hammer, and skill passed down through generations.
What makes copper truly extraordinary as a sink material is its living finish. Unlike chrome or ceramic, copper evolves. It darkens, warms, and develops character with every use. A new sink gleams with bright penny tones; a year later, it glows with rich amber; over decades, it takes on the deep bronze patina of an antique. You're not just buying a sink — you're starting a story.
Installed as an above-counter vessel, our copper sink pairs beautifully with wooden vanities, stone countertops, and farmhouse-style bathrooms. Interior designers love it for powder rooms and guest bathrooms where a single statement piece transforms the space.

The table is beyond beautiful! The craftsmanship exceeded my expectations.
Shipping: The table did arrive damaged but I was able to repair it and this is no reflection of the craftsmanship but rather the shipping/handling--I suspect in customs.
This was my first purchase from an international seller and although the process was long and a bit confusing, the table was definitely worth the wait.
